Museum of Bottle Drawings.

When you draw something once, it’s just a drawing. Draw it three times and it’s a series. Draw it over, and over, and over again…and maybe it’s an obsession. At the very least it’s something that can be collected in an online museum, like this one.

The Museum of Bottle Drawings contains sketches, drawings, and digital illustrations of bottles, vases, cups, and assorted vessels dating back to 2020. It’s not an exhaustive collection, though I’ve tried to show a range of quality (meaning there are a few “stinkers” in here). It also suffers from having no full-time curatorial staff or research associates. Sketchbooks get lost, drawings disappear, entropy is a powerful thing. Still, the collection persists, bringing bottles to the internet masses.
