Sometimes a collage takes days to come together. Some collages sit for weeks, random elements laying unglued on the page, pushed to the side of the workbench where I can look at them, ponder them, then walk away from until something clicks. This collage came together in moments. I love a collage with three or four elements only. When a few fotos, scraps of paper, or old business forms come together with minimal fuss - the result just sings. When I make a collage this simple and clean, I start to dream of a collage with just two elements. Then I wonder, can I have a collage that's just one?
